Today we decided to levy some perspective on “This Day”. This is not much of a moment really but when you consider it in context of today, maybe it is. If you wondered what some players made back in the days of old. Here is your answer and needless to say it really is not all that pretty. A meeting of the NHL board of governors was held, where it was approved that collective salary limits for all clubs for the 1935 season would not exceed $62,500 with an individual salary limit of $7,000 to any one player.
