This Day In Hockey History (7/16)

It is time for a weekend edition of “This Day”.  There were several potential moments that we have could have used today but one did eventually reign supreme.  Sometimes we do use one that technically is a hockey moment in the loosest sense.  This comes from this day 23 years ago and yes I hear bells here ladies and gentlemen.

Wayne Gretzky married actress Janet Jones before a crowd of 700 people in Edmonton.  You could call it a Canadian “Royal Wedding” of sorts.

About Chris Wassel

Simply I am a hockey writer who is a jack of all trades. Whether it is draft, fantasy, NHL, KHL, AHL, etc...I probably can write about it. The challenge in hockey is to be able to step out of your comfort zone and write like you are still there. Hopefully you enjoy the humor in the writing on the site and tell your friends. Thanks for reading!
