This Fantasy Hockey Headache!

The Goalie Dilemma

It happens far too often. You have two goalies playing each other in a fantasy league. What do you do? Literally this is a decision that agonizes far too many souls year after year. As far as fantasy hockey goes, this handcuff or not to handcuff can sink or swim weeks and leagues.

The ideal is to know your goalies. However, early in the season that is not always an option. Then one has to rely on the matchup. What does it look like? Which team is on the road? Again, it seems like a lot of questions with no clear answers.

Daily leagues with the two goalie option need not apply. However, what if you had to decide between your two favorite netminders.

Fanduel decisions are always quite interesting because of salary structure. This can always go poorly later. However, daily goalie dilemmas are different. Keep that in mind.

Back to the season long league, take the Sharks and Bruins tonight. Do I start Rask and Niemi at the same time? These two teams can play a 2-1 or 3-2 style very easily so I would say yes. What would you do? That my fantasy friends is the $64,000 question. Have at it.
