The F**K You Fantasy POTN (3/19)

The moose is loose!

(The Moose was loose last night — National Geographic file photo)

It was one of those death be not proud type of nights where things just went all wrong. When goalies are handling pucks like its a hot potato, pucks are going in that have no business to, then there is an Oscar being handed out for "best dive", it is one of those nights. Let's quickly get to these before the world err author wants to pass out again.

=======================================================

Top F**KUP — Johan Hedberg — New Jersey Devils

So he made the hard saves….that has to count for something, right? Wrong! There was THIS! Also, there was the god awful Rick Nash goal which we will not show for the sake of national security. It was so bad that fans were asking for Martin Brodeur to come in literally the first Rangers goal till the end of the game. Granted, it is not that Brodeur has not make mistakes like these, just not this many so quickly in succession. Hedberg cost many fantasy owners a win and hell, probably the contents of their stomachs in this blood curdling exercise of futility. The bird was flipped strongly for this one and simply thank god Brodeur will be back in net very soon for the red and black.

Junior F**KUP — Henrik Lundqvist — New York Rangers

Not to be outdone, Lundqvist may have acted as his way into Rangers-Devils lore. When you draw a penalty, after your own player hits you….a goalie has truly accomplished the improbable. Yet that happened last night at The Rock. It was one of the more bush league acting jobs I have seen since Major League 4: The Search For The Last Mexican League Catcher but you get the idea. It is very disappointing that there was not video footage at press time. But for those who saw it, yes Swedish Fish dive, we believe! It may have changed the course of the game ultimately so that is why we give it a big F U!

Again we are out of here….have a great night!
