This Day In Playoff Hockey History (5/31)

We never know what will come up on This Day so here is our gem for today…may it live up to your expectations!  Here is one that will probably surprise very few. It came from just eight years ago on this day and really it was the only goal in this Game 4 honest. Okay we will just say it was the only goal that was allowed. How about that? Anyway here we go…..

Brad Richards set an NHL record with his 7th game-winning goal of the 2004 playoffs, and Nikolai Khabibulin recorded his sixth career playoff shutout as the Lightning beat the Flames 1-0, in Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals, in Calgary.
