Its time for a Hump Day Edition of This Day in Hockey History. Today’s moment comes fron the year 1980 and was a first for the Vancouver Canucks franchise. Vancouver earned the first home playoff victory in team history, and beat Buffalo 5-4 in Game 3 of the Preliminary Round. The win came after four home playoff losses in their first ten years of existence.
