This Day In Hockey History (9/7)

Today is what we would like to call a little moment.  However it is one that will warm your heart at least a little bit or it should.  Now this player was more known for what he did in the red and black but not of his first team.  However, every team takes a chance and even New Jersey fans have to be thankful that this team took a shot.  This happened 22 years ago today and I will not shed a tear here.
