This Day In Hockey History (8/7)

Apparently the moments have been sunburned on “This Day” so badly that there are very few that could even be considered somewhat worthy.  The search was exhaustive but in the end we did find something from 19 years ago in a deal that Chicago probably regretted for about a decade.  Here it goes…

 

 

August 07, 1992


Chicago Blackhawks traded goalie Dominik Hasek to Buffalo, in exchange for Sabres’ goalie Stephane Beauregard and a fourth round draft choice in 1993. The Blackhawks used the pick a year later to select Eric Daze.
