This Day In Hockey History (8/25)

We decided to put up a very fast moment today on This Day.  Here it is as the preparation begins just in case for that storm that may be coming over the weekend.

 

 

August 25, 1977


Hockey Hall of Fame inducted it’s newest members: Alex Delvecchio, Tim Horton, and builders Harold Ballard, Joseph Cattarinch, and John “Bunny” Ahearne.

This Day In Hockey History (8/25)

This one happened 34 years today.  It is kind of ironic the Devils are a lot more relevant right now (for many wrong reasons) as well.  Here it is and do not forget to tip the Scouts and Rockies?

The Colorado Rockies received their NHL franchise, to complete their transfer from Kansas City.

New Jersey Devils re-acquired goaltender Chris Terreri from the Chicago Blackhawks, in exchange for a conditional pick in the 1999 NHL Draft.
