This Day In Hockey History (11/23)

Today we have a special milestone from a true class act on This Day: Hump Day Style!  It really is that time to be thankful for such a good guy in the NHL.  His career was truly a marvel when you look at how many years this player was in the NHL.  So this moment happened nine years ago today and needless to say it was a prestigious milestone.  First comes the video (500th goal) and then well…you know….

 

 

November 23, 2002

Tampa Bay’s Dave Andreychuk became the 14th player in NHL history to score 600 goals, then added a second goal in a 3-1 win over the Devils, in New Jersey.

This moment happened eight years ago today.  The player was a true class act and Dave Andreychuk, this one’s for you!
