This Day In Hockey History (11/13)

This is not the usual type of moment that you will find on “This Day” but it sort of has a funny side to it if one really thinks about it.  Today we have one from 14 years ago that Vancouver fans will really get a kick out of.  Some may even forget this ever happened and some are probably still grimacing over this coaching change.  However, here it is with no commercial interruptions and some video to go along for the ride.

Vancouver Canucks fired second year coach Tom Renney, and named Mike Keenan as his replacement.

Mike Foligno scored his 5th career hat trick and added an assist, and Gil Perreault had his 16th career hat trick as the Sabres beat Calgary 11-2 at the Aud, to extend their home undefeated streak against the Flames to 8 games (7-0-1).
