WHY GOD WHY???? How do you get a 47.25 million dollar, 7 year deal for a 70 point guy? With all due respect to Koivu, who is a great two way player, its just amazing to me. Owners and players alike should fear this deal. They should absolutely be horrified at deals like these. I can sense the labor disharmony and the hockey apocalypse is gaining steam. Not that this will happen but hey, you never know.
My question to everyone is what are your thoughts on this unique contract that spreads signing bonus and salary like Miracle Whip?
