This Day In Hockey History (8/26)

Legend has it this guy became a broadcaster but he was a player on this day 12 years ago when the following happened.

 

 

August 26, 1998

Chicago Black Hawks signed free agent Eddie Olczyk. Olczyk, a Chicago native had originally been draftd by the Hawks in 1984, and spent his first four NHL seasons with his home-town team.
