This Day In Hockey History (7/31)

The last post of the month is simply a tribute to my father who would have turned 69 today.  Forgive us here for the lack of posting today but under the circumstances, I hope everyone understands.  Now the moment in a twist.  The old man’s favorite hockey moment and you can see this Monday on the NHL Network.

Joseph R. Wassel was born in Niagra Falls, NY on this day 69 years ago.  I still miss you Dad and though it has been over 5 years since your passing, will never forget what you mean to me and the family.

About Chris Wassel

Simply I am a hockey writer who is a jack of all trades. Whether it is draft, fantasy, NHL, KHL, AHL, etc...I probably can write about it. The challenge in hockey is to be able to step out of your comfort zone and write like you are still there. Hopefully you enjoy the humor in the writing on the site and tell your friends. Thanks for reading!
