This Day In Hockey History (6/4)

Friday comes to This Day and like we said yesterday, the moments do become harder and harder to find.  However, we always manage to find one that is a cut above the rest.  Now as promised is today’s moment with a video too.

 

 

June 04, 1998


Joey Juneau scored at 6:24 of Overtime to give the Washington Capitals a 3-2 win over the Sabres, in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals in Buffalo. The win advanced the Caps to the Stanley Cup Finals, where they met Detroit.
