This Day In Hockey History (11/6)

In the spirit of watching Philadelphia destroy Columbus last night, we bring to you another one of those wow moments of scoring fury in Flyers history.  Apparently there are plenty but this one actually happened This Day 25 years ago.  This was quick and yet somehow the game ended in something Gary Bettman hates.  Here is a video and then the moment.

 

 

November 06, 1986


Philadelphia Flyers set a club record for fastest two shorthanded goals (:32) in a 5-5 tie at New Jersey. Scoring the goals were Murray Craven and Mark Howe, in the first period.

Something a bit different……

January 16, 1968


Toronto Maple Leafs defeated NHL All-Stars 4-3 in Toronto, in the final All Star game that pitted the defending Stanley Cup Champions against a team of Stars from the other five NHL teams.
