About Chris Wassel

Simply I am a sports writer whose first loves will always be hockey and food. As we attempt to fix the site which has fallen into some disrepair (okay a lot), any and all help is always appreciated. For now, everything will channel through on a post by post basis. As always, let's have some fun!

TGIF Pick The Winner

So we went 5-2 on Wednesday and took off for a bit on Thursday.  Tonight is a different story as we go knee deep into some rivalries and games that some could consider off the beaten path a bit. The enjoyable part about this time of the year is we get into the festive part of the holiday season but first we found a dear old friend.

Mitch and the guys over at Sports Chat Place do an incredible job every night nailing these NHL picks down with a high success rate.  Since Mitch was kind enough to go with the Canes game, we will respectively defer to him.  What are we going to pick tonight?

Well that is a good question indeed.  These picks often get tougher and tougher with the holidays fast approaching.  The goal is to get as many of these picks right as we can so the masses can get off to a good start and maybe get some extra Christmas shopping done.  Over the weekend, we will explain some of our picks in detail and may have a spotlight from NHL Predictions as well.

Time to make some sense out of the information thrown all over the place and we consult the show page for betting lines once again.  Here is what we are going with for tonight.  Call us crazy.

HOCKEY PICKS

  • NY Islanders
  • Buffalo
  • Vancouver
  • Minnesota
  • Detroit

Good luck everyone and tomorrow we reveal a little more on why we pick them the way we do here at THE PROGRAM.
