This is to the point and real quick. This came from Dmitry Chesnokov earlier today via twitter.
• Dmitry indicated via Twitter that there’s a chance Ilya Kovalchuk could begin the season in the KHL and then head back to the NHL when his contract is validated with the New Jersey Devils. Because nothing says “rival to the NHL” better than being the hockey equivalent of purgatory. [@dchesnokov]
