Today’s Question Of The Day comes from some of our New Jersey fans. So please bear in mind, this question will have a little vinegar to it because it does sting a bit.
- Will the league minimum salary become an issue for teams trying to stay under the salary cap?
I can only imagine this is being asked because of contracts like the ones for Nigel Dawes, Mike Comrie, and the probable one to Bill Guerin among others. For example, Mike Comrie does not need the money but these NHL teams sure are finding new ways to get around the salary cap.
