They say there are times when art imitates life. How about when the team you despise starts tormenting a person everytime you bet against them? The Carolina Hurricanes have done this to me twice in the last two days. San Jose and LA could not cover for me and well every person knows what Carolina has done to the New Jersey Devils in the playoffs. Last night, we nailed the other three once again and now have a 53-14 record heading into tonight’s crazy 11 game schedule.
It felt like a year since there was a big day of hockey and now we get two in the span of three nights. This feels good. Warm up the fingers and crack the knuckles. The hard work of research should now hopefully start to pay off as in the next couple weeks, trends will begin to surface for you, the sports bettor. For example, we notice the French Canadian goalies who are struggling in October. They have for the past several years. That will be explored a bit more on Sunday’s show.

The RATIONALE:
Does mommy want to get in on these? Maybe not. Sometimes you have to take risks and when you are over 70%, you can do so. This is one of those nights to let it ride and see where it takes you. Also Alexei Kovalev has been PWN’d by GM of the Senators Bryan Murray. It will not be long before he ends up traded. What does this have to do with tonight’s bets? Nothing but it will affect trends down the road. Ottawa is a chaotic mess right now like New Jersey and it is one slumping RW that is literally poisoning the ship. So to Jamie Langenbrunner, wake up or Lou will ship you out, oh Captain thy Captain. That is why New Jersey plays it close tonight or is that because Martin Brodeur is 38-16-5 against Montreal with an eye popping 1.76 GAA and .931 save percentage and 8 shutouts too.
The Rangers will play with more spirit tonight and Alexander Ovechkin will find the back of the net. Also expect Tampa to play very inspired against Rick DiPietro and the Islanders. Craig Anderson can buoy the Avalanche against the San Jose Sharks, who are definitely off to a very sloppy beginning.
