Crazy on the surface here.but this has to do with the 2-5-1 Devils who may or may not have Kovalchuk tonight. As of press time, there is no decision just yet. The -320 puck line is very unusual with the near even moneyline. This indicates a lot of indecision from bettors and bookies alike. For example, this prop bet below could be in jeopardy.

Nevermind that prop bet, if Kovalchuk does not play, it makes the Rangers an extremely strong bet on the surface and may cause a late surge in betting. Okay it will cause a late surge.
