Our love of Fantasy Hockey is what drives us on FH101. The goal has been always to give you, the fan, information you can use on a timely manner. We will never charge you to use any of our services. Do we contribute to sites that charge? Yes we do. However, this site will never directly charge you. This is why.
This is a labor of love for yours truly. I have been in leagues now for the past 15+ years. I remember the days of checking newspapers religiously. Then the hockey magazines, tv, espn, espn2, and now the internet obviously. The internet and now twitter along with social media has blown fantasy hockey wide open. Everyone has the same access to the same information in a sense. Now it comes down to how it is delivered.
I do not dismiss what others are doing. Actually, we embrace the Rotowire’s, THN’s, and Dobberhockey’s of the world. They do incredible work and are always worth a read. As we have said, our aim is to provide the info you need when you want it and the platform to ask whatever and I mean WHATEVER questions you want. There is no fear in answering these questions and believe me we get some real difficult ones, especially in our podcast chatroom. When you know a lot of experts and have competed in tons of experts’ leagues, your reputation preceeds you.
Ironically enough, I am always learning. The minute I stop researching or digging for the latest guy is the minute I am finished as a “fantasy hockey expert”. People will scoff at it but this is really 100% true. I take pride in going with the road less traveled in my approach and I always hope the readers appreciate that. Last night on the podcast, for example, we went deep down in the prospect pool along with our “list”. Yes it created some controversy but the point is to let you know what your options are with enough time to make an educated decision before you draft.
A new top 25 list will come for Right Wingers this week with analysis on Sunday. Yours truly will be sitting down by the inlet again for this one but we will provide deep insight and analysis well past the best 25 Right Wingers. The fun is finding the potential breakout gems and no Alexei Kovalev will not bounce back that much. Bank on it. We will also tell you guys to stay away from, guys to stray from and guys to keep an eye on, and much much more! There is a possibilty of sneaking in what potential RW UFA’s are still out there on top of it.
So as always, we try to educate and inform. Hopefully your upcoming draft is filled with success. If you have any fantasy hockey questions at all, send a tweet to @TheProgramBTR or email me directly at stevens8204@gmail.com. Cider’s up always!!!
Sincerely,
Chris Wassel
