Fantasy Hockey POTN!

Tonight we simply just pay tribute to one player who was truly a man apart tonight especially when that game could have gone South in a hurry.  Our Fantasy POTN is none other than Jose Theodore who improves his record to 9-0-1 in his last 10 at Madison Square Garden.  He is what you would call a clutch player.

See what we have for Sunday…..good luck everyyone.

Fantasy Hockey POTN!

This will be a simple announcement on the Fantasy POTN.  We went into all 13 games, did some research, and this is what we got.  Tonight we go with a rare double or co-award.

Both Jonathan Bernier and Nick Backstrom won tonight for their double shutout.  In the end, only Mr. Backstrom could reign supreme in the shootout as the winner.  Here is a little more and Hump Day is here.

Fantasy Hockey POTN!

Tonight was a fun one in the National Hockey League.  There were only six games but there was a ton of controversy and more.  So who did we choose as our fantasy player of the night?  It was none other than Chris Kunitz of the Pittsburgh Penguins who nabbed a hat trick tonight.  There is little wonder to that obvious nugget.

However, there was a bit of fantasy hockey deprived tonight with the following video.

Bryan McCabe has a goal ladies and gentlemen and at 5:12 of the video you can clearly see it. The key is fantasy points like this deprived can have an effect later in the week or month. Even the fantasy turkeys would offer up some sympathy for this one. Thanks and good night!

Fantasy Hockey POTN!

First off now to see if all those shaved mustaches screw around with fantasy numbers any.  Yes it is December at last!

Tonight’s choice is very simple and this one goes to Pavel Datsyuk.  Surely there were several worthy candidates but Henrik Zetterberg could really have challenged with his 2 goals, 2 assists and a +3 but oddly enough we go with Pavel Datsyuk who had a goal, two assists and a +3 as well.

Here is why.  Datsyuk changed the game early for Detroit with his splitting of San Jose.  From there on, San Jose was playing catch up.  He shut the guys down he had to and that is why he makes such a great fantasy player.  We did not forget the efforts of Jonathan Toews tonight or even Simon Gagne (who scored his 1st and it was a GWG).  Now about that move…..and we will leave you with that.

When you are that good…you are worthy of all accolades. Datsyuk takes home this night’s POTN!
