This Day In Hockey History (8/14)

We are back again to bring you another “This Day”.  It was a bit light in the inbox this morning but we did find something that worked well nonetheless.  Also, this is just one that has to be mentioned.  So 15 years ago, the moment below occurred today.  Really this seems hard to believe but yet it indeed happened. 

 

 

August 14, 1996


Mighty Ducks of Anaheim signed veteran free agent Jari Kurri, who had split the previous season with the L.A. Kings and the New York Rangers.
