Welcome to August hockey fans, the true dog days of summer.  Do not let that discourage you as the Dobberhockey Fantasy Guide is out today.  Now for the moment today, we went all the way back to the year 1994 where some GM’s were pining their crafts so to speak.  So let us get down to business and see what transpired just 17 years ago on this day.

 

 

August 01, 1994


Florida Panthers named Bryan Murray as their new General Manager, replacing Bobby Clarke, who had left the team to return to Philadelphia.
