This day In Hockey History (7/11)

It is nice to be back ladies and gentlemen and apologies for all the technical glitches, difficulties, and all that jazz.  This one is a moment that changed Pittsburgh and Washington history.  It paved the way for Pittsburgh to bottom out to get better while Washington did not quite get the ROI they expected.  In any case, it was a trade that will be remembered for a long, long time.   First the usual video and then the moment.

Pittsburgh Penguins traded right wing Jaromir Jagr and defenseman Frantisek Kucera to the Washington Capitals for Kris Beech, center Michael Sivek, defenseman Ross Lupaschuk and future considerations.
