This Day In Hockey History (1/15)

Today’s moment is just a little bit different than the rest as we blow out a few birthday candles.  Five years ago we started The Program purely on a dare to be what most are not.  Hockey talk just needed a different edge and an edge that could evolve as well.  This blog has always been kind of a fantasy hockey blog in a lot of ways but in the last year or two, we have focused more on that than anything else.  One never quite knows what will happen between the blog and podcast but we would like to think in our time that we have made some tangible impact in our little corner of the hockey world.

Again, we simply wanted to thank everyone who has really made this possible and there are just so many people to thank.  Tonight’s show will have a dedication to the blog and should have some funny stories as well on just what goes into this crazy thing.  Also, Fantasy Hockey ONE will be done live on the show tonight to look ahead to Week 15.  The show starts right at 8pm ET on Blog Talk Radio’s Fatnasy Sports Channel.  Finally, we needed a video to go with this moment today and here it is right on cue…..

The Program opened its doors into the hockey blogging world and since has been a home of hockey, fantasy hockey, crazy trade rumors, injury news, and so much more.  Hockey talk from a fan’s and writer’s perspective all rolled into one.

Sorry for the quick nature of this but simply we just have the moment today.  I do apologize everyone but I promise it is a good one.
