This Day In Hockey History (1/14)

There is always that first guy to accomplish something that never has before.  When its an iconic player that gets reaction almost wherever he goes, that makes it doubly polarizing.  This guy was one of the best defenseman ever to lace up the skates and one the most prolific goal scorers in NHL history.  So it is time to see what happened 23 years ago today.  As always, we have a little video first so please press play and enjoy the show.

Trying to find a good TGIF moment today was tough on This Day and there were many fine submissions.  However this one topped the others and is worthy of a spot here.
