This Day In Hockey History (11/22)

Historical events can sometimes just be traced back from where they begin and immediately the light bulb comes on as to say oh that makses sense.  This was truly one of those moments 41 years ago where all you could do is sit there and go yes that was special.  Well on this day, there was a beginning of sorts and when people realize that this team was really that good, it was scary.  The strangest part is this team would not win the Stanley Cup.  First, here comes a video and then the moment of course from “This Day”.

They say the first is always the best but this game was played outdoors in the cold elements. That is what made this “Heritage Classic” so special.  The atmosphere took precedence over the score almost.  Now that moment from seven years ago today and thanks to @NHLhistorygirl for the great idea.
