Today we have a little something about hat tricks. When this guy retired, he left with the record for most hat tricks. Obviously that has been blown off the hinges since but here we give some considerable respect to a guy who simply was a hell of a hockey player. This moment happened 32 years ago and again here it is without further adieu.

New York’s Phil Esposito scored his 32nd (and final) career hat trick, and added an assist to lead the Rangers to a 6-3 win over Vancouver. At the time 32 was the most career hat tricks by any player in NHL history.
