There is just 1 game tonight in the NHL before the regular season wraps up tomorrow night, but I do have a play on the total.

Both Phoenix and St Louis are looking to move up in the Western Conference and won’t be resting up for the postseason here tonight with two games remaining. We have a great goalie match up tonight with Mike Smith vs Brian Elliot. Smith has shutouts in 3 straight games giving him 8 on the season. Smith is 36-18-10 with a 2.25 GAA and .929 SV%. In his three shutouts Mike Smith has stopped 54, 44, and 38 shots against. Brian Elliot allowed two late goals against Detroit on Wednesday to break his streak of 3 straight shutouts. Elliot is 23-9-4 on the season with a stellar 1.49 GAA and .943 SV%. These two teams have met three times this season with totals of 4, 5, and 5.
The UNDER is 4-0 in the Coyotes last 4 games, and 13-5-2 in their last 20 vs a team with a winning record. The UNDER is 38-15-16 in the Blues last 69 overall. Two of the league’s hottest goalies right now and two teams that don’t sacrifice defense for offense. I look for a playoff type atmosphere tonight and a low scoring game between these two teams – take the UNDER.
