You know last night did not go quite so well yet started out with such promise. Such is life when you try to predict these things. A 1-2 Monday and we were only bailed out because Nikolai Khabibulin stopped 39 of 40 in a 2-1 win against Vancouver. Hopefully we learned our lesson some. Because now at 48-34…the crankiness level is rising again. Tonight there are only three games on the schedule again. For the record, I do not like these type of nights just for that reason.
Time to take a stab at these. The Versus game between St. Louis and Pittsburgh expects to be a good one but now I present my picks.
- Pittsburgh
- Montreal
- Calgary
Going with the law of averages here. Well really it is blind hope at this point that these teams can start out strong. Though picking Calgary is a bit of a stretch….Columbus is due for one of those “bad” efforts. So is Atlanta really which is why I went with Montreal. I went with Pittsburgh simply because they are on Versus.
Tomorrow my favorite good luck charm is going to predict the games including the one she is going to. She doesn’t know about this yet but I am guessing that she will find out. Until then, I leave you with this……
