Players to watch:
CBJ- Rick Nash
Captain Nash has scored one goal in the last seven games; he has to step it up tonight.
STL- Brad Boyes
Boyes has also gone through a drought; he needs to snap out of it with the multiple injuries up front.
Projected Goaltenders:
CBJ- Mathieu Garon (2010/11 stats: 7-2-0, 1.94 GAA)
STL- Jaroslav Halak (2010/11 stats: 11-7-3, 2.36 GAA)
Injury Report:
CBJ- Kristian Huselius (ankle, out)
STL- Andy McDonald and David Perron (concussion, out), T.J. Oshie (ankle, out), Roman Polak (wrist, out), Ian Cole (flu, questionable)
Game Thoughts:
Remember the last meeting between these two? I’m sure the Blues do. Columbus’ 8-1 home win sent Davis Payne’s gang on a tailspin. St. Louis will be looking for a little bit of payback tonight; more importantly, though, they have to get their own game back on track (as does Columbus). I think both teams will play desperate, but the Blues end up getting the two points. Keep this in mind: Columbus has lost eight of their last nine in St. Louis.
Prediction: Blues 3, Blue Jackets 2

Lock of the Night:
Capitals over Panthers… Bruce Boudreau’s gang isn’t going to lose four in a row, are they? This is their first meeting this year and the Caps swept all six from the ‘Cats in 2009/10.
The rest of tonight’s predictions:
Bruins over Islanders
Sabres over Sharks
Flyers over Maple Leafs
Rangers over Senators
Coyotes over Wild
Flames over Kings
