As many know that Patrick Swayze passed away yesterday after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. There was a death that went a little less noticed but not to those in the hockey world. Derek Sutton passed away in the process and thanks again to Scotty Hockey for this tip. People ask well who is Derek Sutton and just think back to the movie Youngblood (yes with Rob Lowe and Keanu Reeves).
Remember that Swayze played Derek Sutton in the movie. Swayze was indeed one of the few that could pull off such a mentoring role with credibility. By the way there will be a tribute on tomorrow’s show….but before we go….one funny video from the movie. All I will say is bar scene.
