Mike York has indeed signed a 1 yr 2 way contract with Columbus but the bigger news involves Brendan Shanahan. Shanny is actively contemplating a one year, incentive laden deal with the New York Rangers believed to be around 2.5 million per including performance bonuses and incentives. WFAN has also reported the story circulating around.
It will be interesting to see how this pans out….but Shanny will play in the NHL. I do wonder if he will take a deal with the Rangers or play somewhere else (because he will play in the NHL this year). New York is the frontrunner still.
I like his presence on the power play and always have so how this turns out will be very interesting. Stay tuned!
