Time for another edition of Fix This. Danada is on vacation for the holidays. What do I want to fix on this week of good tidings and all that nice stuff? That is indeed a good question. Well I am going to take on the idea of hockey presents and why wives should give in to their husbands’ wishes for a good hockey present instead of the normal drab clothes.
Too many years I have seen the man get underwear or a flannel or a robe when all they really wanted was the replica jersey….or that hockey beer mug. Now the nice thing is there are men who do the same thing to their hockey fan wives. They get them lingerie instead of a nice sexy hockey jersey. Truthfully if I am sitting there…I want to stare at my wife wearing nothing but a jersey….that works for me!!
Take some time…..look at the shop.nhl.com catalog. If you do not have it…order it today! Now it is too late to save your Christmas but maybe you can make up for it in the new year. I would not go with a gift card because of the economy but just order something for your loved one……show them what you are getting them on Christmas Day….maybe it can save some face. Now you can overnight it….but you would have to add ridiculously quick…as in NOW!
Other options include River City Sports. There are choices for updates, a catalog, and much much more. From recliners to jerseys to mugs to so many souvenirs….River City Sports has it for you. Not just NHL either….there are juniors, minors, and more. They do other sports as well. Whether you are in little trouble or big trouble….RCS may also be able to save you in a pinch….when all other plans go wrong.
So if you are still looking for that last minute gift….and time is about as short as it can be….these two options may just help you get what you need for the one that matters most. On a personal note, I lucked out a bit when a nice sweatshirt came from VS….wow that really looks good on the wife. Good luck folks!
