In Flyers news…they have just sent a 3rd round draft pick in this year’s draft to the Kings for Jaroslav Modry. Thanks to TSN for the quick reflexes.
Trade Impact:
For the Flyers they get a 6 foot 2….220 pound big boy who can clear players from the net….pretty solid at his own end. Problem is the Flyers do not get younger with this trade as Modry will be 37 on the 27th of this month. The Flyers still need speed on defense so don’t be surprised if they are far from done here.
For the Kings…they get a third round draft pick that will continue their rebuilding plan.
