Tomorrow is finally the day I and many Devils fans have been waiting years for…our own spanking new arena. The NHL Arena’s very own Blueyedevil will be attending the game. I am sure she will have some very nice pictures of the new place and all the little things that a fan will catch onto…likes and dislikes and all that good stuff.

Simply put it is time to get this season started….3-5-1 on the road isn’t bad considering the circumstances but the play needs to pick up. I expect a big boost just from playing the Senators as well as the opening of the arena. All the amenities the new arena has to offer should help this team in the long run as well as the short run. The short run is obviously to win on the homestand…and I fully expect to win tomorrow night.
Fox Sports New York is expected to have a one hour pre-game show from The Rock at 6pm EDT…and the new post-game show will debut from the bar overlooking center ice. All in all this has the makings of being a very special night for Devils fans. Emery more than likely will face Brodeur again…the Heatley line vs. Madden and Pandolfo perhaps..all the storylines that are fit to print. Tomorrow is finally the day to see some Devils home hockey in the new arena…I can’t wait!!
