Its Monday Night Football…a Monday night partyyyyy…with…ice and goals…and beer…..WTF??? Yep, that’s right….its hockey…and a game 7 at that. Either the Canucks or Stars will punch their ticket into the second round. Who will it be?? Time to take a deeper look.

A final battle in a decisive Game 7.
Dallas has rallied back from a 3-1 deficit with two great performances from Marty Turco. Both goalies have played fairly even…but Turco has made the clutch stops….especially in game 6. Luongo has to feel like he’s on an island…as the Sedin twins have vanished..and so have alot of the top Canucks players. 9 goals scored in 6 games will do that. If you had asked me if Luongo or Turco would have 3 shutouts by now..and I would have bet every penny in existence on Luongo but alas it is Turco. Both goalies and defenses have been stellar in this series and I expect nothing different at all when they get together this evening. Question may be who gets the first goal…as that will dictate tempo. Expect a tense and gritty matchup for the right to advance to the second round…..check out all the action only on that fiery Canucks board GDT.
