Once again…..it is time for another team to try and force a Game 7….this playoffs it seems the theme is to go 5 or 6…and not so much a 7….Vancouver-Dallas was the only series that went the distance. The Sharks will try and play a 60 minute game tonight because their season depends on it…and its all on the Hockey Roundup.

So this is it…for the Sharks…they are at the brink once again…the last couple years in this position has proved disasterous. Will this year be any different? For Ron Wilson, it might better be. Rumors have begun to swirl around that his job may be in jeopardy if they don’t defeat the Wings. Nothing has been substantiated but a bad performance tonight will not help matters. Once again…the Sharks played the first 10 minutes of Game 5 like it was their lives on the line and then just slowly fell asleep then woke up to find themselves down 4-1…and began to play hard again. Every Shark player has to play better and stop making the same silly mistakes that they have been. There was even talk of Toskala getting the nod tonight but Wilson is going with Nabokov. The Sharks need to get shots on Hasek as well as quality scoring chances and traffic. All the Wings really have to do is play like they have been…and they will be hosting Anaheim later this week.
