Game 6 tonight of the Western Conference finals….Detroit faces yet another test in their quest to try to get back to the Stanley Cup Finals. The Ducks only have to win one to face Ottawa…Detroit has to nail down two. Who will win tonight? Perhaps the team that gets outshot will win it…who knows. This series has been anything but predictable or dull. Time to get the Roundup!!!!!

It all comes down to this for the Wings…a team who has shown more grit in this playoffs than in the last five years combined….Win and go home or win, go home, and hit the golf course. In a sort of homage to the Tortorella philosophy of safe is death….lack of converting golden scoring chances is death. Losing Game 5 in OT was more than just losing any game…it was losing a game Detroit should have won…period. However, if any team is resilient enough to handle this adversity…it would be Detroit. That is what will make the Ducks’ task difficult tonight. The Ducks have won 2 in Detroit but know that they don’t want to have to make it 3 if they do not have to. Selanne and Giguere are the hot hands right now. Giguere had a spectacular Game 5 while Selanne has come alive with 5 points in his last 2 games including the Game 5 GWG.
The Battle of California has the Ducks covered and Behind the Jersey has the Wings all raring to go. Javageek from the BOC thinks the Ducks chances of winning are a all time high for this series…75%.
