More Fans than you can shake a hockey stick at! Now. Today at church I had a few folks come up to me and say “Hey I’m a Blues fan…again!” Just to give me trouble. Ok, I could and should have said I told you so, but I didn’t. I just want everyone to pack your stuff up and get to Scottrade and back the boys!
It was also pointed out to me that we should be building on the youth, selling off ALL of our older players, to just right this year off… That might work if we weren’t making a run for the playoffs. And didn’t need to sell any tickets to pay the bills for the next few years. Then we could start trying to build the fan base back from the 3 to 4 thousand hard core fans like myself. But I can tell you this, we were at a game that had about 6 thousand there and we won. It was fun but not like “The Arena” fun. My daughter looked at me and said “Dad are we early?” as they sang the National Anthem.
I guess the worst part of the “BIG come back” is all my free Blues tickets have dried up. Now everyone is starting to get in to it. But that’s OK. A packed Scottrade is a party! So from a diehard Blue bleeder to all the part timers, come on back down. We already got your good seats and the party’s not the same without you! ;~)
