Edmonton makes offer to Dustin Penner

A few hours ago Kevin Lowe who is the GM of the Edmonton Oilers has made an offer to Ducks Left Winger Dustin Penner.
The contract is for 5 years at $21.5 million and Ducks GM Brian Burke needs to match it so that he can remain in a Ducks jersey.
I personally think that the Ducks won’t be able to match it due to our salary cap problems. Scott Niedermayer and Teemu Selanne aren’t helping matters with this either as we need decisons from them soon. Penner isn’t even worth over $4 million a year and we will have to wait and see if Brian Burke will match it or let Kevin Lowe have his own way.
I shall keep everyone updated on here.
