I know… This “denial” thing of mine just came up to kick my ass. No more Peter Forsberg in Orange & Black. My 3rd favorite Hockey player ever (1 & 2? Tocchet & Primeau) is no longer playing for my favorite team.
… yeah, i know…
i know every thing any of you will tell me… i’ve spent the last few days obsessively refreshing every kinda’ almost reputable Hockey site that i know… marveling at the sun, while rejecting the flames… no more Peter Forsberg…
and, no… i know he won’t be coming back… he’s no “rental player”… he’s gone…
… i’m not in the mood for this right now… i’m not.
But what about the new captain? Sami Kapanen…
I hope… but I’m really not in the mood to even think about it…
