Hockey fans take heart….this is something for every person. Organ donors are a very vital part of the world’s fabric. Think for a second on how many lives are saved each year by donors. Then think of how many more can be saved just by following a few easy steps. OrganDonors.gov is a great site that spread the virtues of organ donation.

The importance of this is parmount. So many people are waiting for a transplant that the numbers boggle the mind. Any step taken to reduce that amount is a noble cause. I know, for example…my dad’s liver and kidney went to a man who was in a car accident in the very same hospital he died in. Not much solace I know, but it was comforting to know he gave the gift of live to another person.
