Ah the memories…..the feet of snow seems like a long long time ago…well really it was almost a year and a half ago but it still feels fresh. With how hot and dry it has been in California lately….I figure why not have a short interview with the lady that helped start it all.

What really got you into hockey in the first place?

Sadly, I was a bandwagon fan of the LA Kings when they were making waves in the early 90’s, but I truly got into hockey was after the 94-95 lockout. Then I got on the Devils list, became a bit of a Devils fan…met some really good people (including my future husband) and learned a lot about the game. Then I really became a Ducks fan around 2000….needless to say 2003 was a bad year…..heh.

Who is your favorite Ducks player and why?

Just one win away from the Stanley Cup….how does it feel to know your team is so close?

it’s weird. I’ve watched this team all season and to find out that they are this close to winning it all, it’s just crazy. Admittedly, the husband can’t use the 3 to 0 cup stickler if they win tomorrow night.

What will it be like to see the Ducks win the Cup?

Surreal. I remember when they were the Suckie Duckies, and could have maybe 8000 fans at the Pond, and now, there isn’t even standing room. It’s just so surreal.

Lastly, will you go to the parade and do you think it will be down Main Street at Disney?

Yes, I will go to the parade/rally/whatever, and NO it will not be at Disneyland. although they might have to have a special one there too. 🙂
