ATLANTA STILL ON LOSING STREAK, HOSSA GETS ATHLETE OF THE YEAR AWARD

Saturday the Thrashers lost yet again, to the Ottawa Senators in a 5-3 battle four straight games have been lost by the Thrashers, and on Tuesday they will play a very important game against Carolina. Something has really gotten to the Thrashers to make them slip as much as they have been. Weather its a phase, injury, lack of being able to communicate on the ice between the players. The Thrashers have not been able to bring in the BIG W in awhile. That could really hurt them come play off time, or in the game against Carolina, who’s player Rod Brind‘ Amour could really crush the Thrashers winning chances.

Personally, I have not lost hope for the Thrashers just yet, They still are in the running for making it to the playoffs, but as far as Ilya Kovalchuk wanting to stay the second seed in the Conference, well that could be a long shot. The game between the Thrashers and Senators Saturday was intense, if not one of a play off “Setting”, but the Thrashers still weren’t able to get it done. They have good efforts and hard team work don’t get me wrong, but something is missing. Hopefully, the team can figure it out before its too late and they no longer have a chance.

Seems like Marian Hossa is really doing an awesome job in Atlanta, he won the Atlanta Sports Award for Professional Athlete of the Year, at the Fox Theater in Atlanta. Way to GO HOSSA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! VERY PROUD OF YOU! YOU DESERVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
