OK. Yes, I realize how far we still have to go. But here is the thing, the Blues who everyone counted out (yes, even most if not all of St. Louis) of getting into the playoffs… for years, those Blues, the Blues that had only 7 wins in their first 32 games, they’re making a real run here at mid season! And they still have time to do it in! It is going to be a long tough way. And they will have to continue to play just the way they have for the last 14 games. And every game we’ll have to play Hard from the start.
Look what happened at Phoenix. A slow start and the Coyotes end up with 2 points and we only got 1. We need every point we can get! I don’t think we’ll go undefeated till the playoffs, we just need to come to every game ready to take it to… whoever for 60 min. These Blue-collar Blues can work as hard as any team out there. And thank God it looks like whatever Andy has done, the boys have finally decided to show up.
History shows us it’s going to take around 93 points to get to the last playoff spot. That means the Blues will have to earn 51 points. A tough task but there are 70 points out there for them to get! So lets get it going! Breaks over. “LET’S GO BLUuuuES!”
