Well this has been yet again another disappointing season so far for the Jackets. The Jackets are currently 21 points out of the playoffs. Hear this first right now I believe that the Jackets will make the playoffs in 07-08. Here is why
- The Play of Fredrik Norrena, even though Pascal Leclaire is the starter until her got hurt. With the emergence of Norrena i believe the Jackets have a solid goaltending core.
- Coaching- at the beginning of the year the Jackets were in turmoil. Gallant could not handle the team. Hitchcock knows how to handle a team of players like the Jackets, He did the same thing with the Stars in 1999. Even though Brett Hull’s goal should not have been counted his foot was in the crease…..but thats a different story
- The Draft- Since the Jackets are not playing well this year they will get a decent draft spot in the top 10. If they end up in the top 5, I believe the Jackets should take Pat Kane. Kane can make an immediate impact.
Thats why i believe the Jackets will make the playoffs in 07-08
