A bad habit

Well, another overtime win. Down, two nothing in the third, and then all hell breaks loose. Getting to be a habit isn’t it.
A bad habit.
With less than fifteen games before the end of the season, the Penguins are having a hard time getting the lead, or holding a lead. This is the kind of play that will get a coach mad and/or fired. This is also what will cause an early exit from the playoffs.
Do you think a team like the Devils, with Martin Brodeur in net, will let you come back? Or Buffalo, Ottawa, or Atlanta? If you think it can be done on a consistent level, you’re fooling yourself. The Pens need to focus from the start of the first period, to the end of play. These afternoon games especially.
If not, their post-season will last as long as one of their comebacks. For about a total of one-third that it could.
